UX Animator
TITLE: UX Animator
LOCATION: San Francisco, CA
ANTICIPATED DURATION: From 06/09/2026 to 02/26/2027
Responsibilities:
– Ideate, execute, iterate, and deliver visual assets for static and interactive Delight features across Search surfaces and emerging AI surfaces
– Collaborate with engineers to communicate, negotiate, and/or influence design intention
– Guide design specifications for implementation (e.g., design specs, mock-ups, or product models)
– Drive improvements in design based on UX testing and stakeholder input
– Provide input and feedback to engage stakeholders on product design and achieve product goals
– Apply, adapt, and/or define motion and visual design frameworks for user experiences, including principles, patterns, and systems
– Leverage writing and design tools to visualize ideas or develop mock-ups or prototypes
– Tailor deliverables based on product or platform requirements independently – Identify and follow writing and design templates, style guides, and accessibility guidelines
– Propose ideas to improve motion and visual design by analyzing or anticipating user needs through collaboration with others
– Solve constraints in strategy, product, or technology
Requirements:
– 4 years experience in animation and/or motion design
– Motion design and animation experience
– Strong visual design skills in modern aesthetics and expressiveness
– Fluency in a wide range of illustration styles and practices
– Proficiency in modern animation tools for web deployment (vector graphics, After Effects, Rive)
– Background in crafting interactive experiences
– Basic understanding of development for gaming, including gaming UX needs and gaming flows
– Include a portfolio, website, or any other relevant link to your work in your resume (providing a viewable link and/or access instructions) exhibiting strong animation and motion design skills for the web (vector), modern visual design sensibilities, and a wide range of visual tone, style, and approach
The hourly pay rate range for this position is $105.67 to $132.94 (dependent on factors including but not limited to client requirements, experience, statutory considerations, and location).
