About the Role
We’re seeking a User Experience Architect to define and scale experience architecture across complex, customer-facing digital products. This role is focused on structuring systems, workflows, and interactions—ensuring experiences are intuitive, consistent, and scalable across multiple touchpoints.
You’ll partner closely with product, engineering, business analysts, and compliance teams to translate requirements into clear, usable experience frameworks that balance user needs with technical and business constraints.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Define and evolve experience architecture across digital products and platforms
- Create conceptual models, user journeys, flows, and interaction frameworks
- Lead design discovery efforts to frame problems and define scalable solutions
- Design wireframes and interactive prototypes in Figma to communicate structure and behavior
- Ensure solutions meet accessibility standards (WCAG) and usability best practices
- Optimize information architecture and navigation systems to improve findability and efficiency
- Collaborate with product, engineering, and compliance partners to align on solutions
- Facilitate workshops, design reviews, and stakeholder sessions
- Review and refine design artifacts to ensure consistency across patterns and experiences
What We’re Looking For
- 5–10 years of UX / Product Design experience, with a strong focus on information architecture and experience design
- Proven experience leading design discovery and problem framing
- Strong expertise in Figma within Agile environments
- Experience designing for accessibility (WCAG standards)
- Demonstrated ability to structure complex workflows, systems, and user journeys
- Strong collaboration skills across product, engineering, and business teams
- Excellent communication and storytelling abilities
Nice to Have
- Experience in enterprise or regulated environments (financial services, healthcare, etc.)
- Familiarity with design systems and scalable UI frameworks
- Experience working across multi-channel or cross-platform ecosystems
Work Model
- Remote-friendly (U.S.-based)
- Hybrid preferred for Minneapolis-based candidates
- ~2 days onsite/week (flexible, not required)

The hourly pay range for this position (dependent on factors including but not limited to client requirements, experience, statutory considerations, and location) is $0.00 to $68.97/hr.
