About the Role
We’re looking for a Data Engineer II to join a collaborative, high-impact team supporting both modern data initiatives and legacy systems. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys solving complex data challenges, working across a variety of technologies, and contributing to the evolution of a growing data environment.
You’ll play a key role in building and maintaining data pipelines, supporting reporting and analytics, and helping modernize the organization’s data platform, including the adoption of Microsoft Fabric.
What You’ll Do

Design, build, and maintain data pipelines, integrations, and datasets

Work across SQL Server and Oracle environments to support data processing and reporting

Develop and support Python-based integrations, automation, and data workflows

Troubleshoot and resolve data and reporting issues in production environments

Support both legacy systems and modern data platform initiatives (Fabric)

Contribute to data modeling and analytics solutions

Assist with reporting needs (Power BI, paginated reports, etc.) as needed

Partner with cross-functional teams to understand and deliver on business data needs

Help identify opportunities to improve, automate, and modernize processes
What We’re Looking For

3–6 years of experience in data engineering or a related field
-
Strong SQL skills (core requirement)

Experience with Python for data processing, scripting, or integrations

Familiarity with multiple database platforms (SQL Server, Oracle, etc.)

Exposure to Linux and/or shell scripting (bash)

Experience working in complex or mixed (legacy + modern) environments

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Excellent communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally

Ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt in a fast-paced environment
Nice to Have

Exposure to Microsoft Fabric, Databricks, or similar modern data platforms

Experience with PySpark or Spark-based processing

Background in data warehouse modernization or migration efforts

Experience with Power BI or other BI/reporting tools

The compensation range for this position is $100,000.00 to $110,000.00 (dependent on factors including but not limited to client requirements, experience, statutory considerations, and location). Benefits available to full-time employees: medical, dental, vision, disability, life insurance, 401k and commuter benefits.
