TITLE: Art Director
LOCATION: Cupertino, CA; Hybrid
ANTICIPATED DURATION: 4+ months with possible extension

As an Art Director V, you will lead and shape innovative live action and brand video projects that resonate on a human level. This high-impact role offers the opportunity to influence the creative direction of diverse content—ranging from documentary-inspired stories to social-native visuals—working cross-functionally with talented teams and vendors to bring bold ideas to life. If you're a self-starter with a keen eye for aesthetics and experience translating strategic briefs into captivating video content, we want to hear from you.
Required Skills:
- Over 10 years of creative experience within top design, advertising, or production companies.
- A diverse portfolio showcasing expertise in live action formats, including documentary-influenced, social-native, and brand storytelling.
- Proven ability to develop original concepts from strategy through execution, including scripting, on-set direction, and final editing.
- Strong visual judgment and art direction skills—experience with casting, location selection, cinematography, and lighting.
- Excellent communication skills, capable of serving as a creative authority with vendors, directors, and production teams.
- Ability to balance creative vision with strategic objectives across various lines of business.
Nice to Have Skills:
- Experience collaborating on animation or mixed-media projects.
- Awareness of current visual and cultural trends in entertainment, gaming, and digital culture.
- Adept at managing multiple projects across different time zones with a collaborative, team-first mindset.
Preferred Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Fine Arts, Design, Film, or a related field.
- Extensive experience leading creative initiatives in high-profile agencies or production environments.
Other Requirements:
- Comfort working in ambiguous situations, proactively seeking clarity and stakeholder alignment.
- Ability to operate hybrid onsite, with flexibility to extend beyond initial terms if needed.

The hourly pay rate for this position is $100-$147.65/hour. Benefits available to full-time employees: medical, dental, vision, disability, life insurance, 401k and commuter benefits.
