Business Data Analyst
TITLE: Business Data Analyst
LOCATION: Atlanta, GA (Onsite)
ANTICIPATED DURATION: From 07/07/2026 to 01/29/2027
Responsibilities:
- Contribute to the evaluation, design, development, and implementation of standardized reporting, business processes, and information systems solutions.
- Handle all aspects of project management from inception to completion.
- Develop and maintain business strategies and dashboards for projects, initiatives, and categories.
- Act as a strategic thought partner on issues facing the business.
- Develop and track category and program performance as well as monitor trends.
- Lead all phases of a project's life cycle including defining the business need, establishing criteria and business requirements, understanding the impact to the business, and designing and rolling out the project.
- Serve as a subject matter expert and perform research and analysis within assigned projects or categories of business.
- Establish and report on metrics of assigned projects or categories to gauge business value.
- Analyze customer concerns regarding invoicing, payment, and other order issues through multiple portals, Salesforce, and SQL to find data, address, escalate issues, and help identify root cause issues to report on.
Requirements:
- Strong analytical skills – investigating issues across multiple sources (systems), identifying issues and resolutions.
- Ability to communicate issues and resolutions concisely to customers.
- Proficient in reporting findings, measuring progress, identifying trends, and proposing solutions.
- Relevant years of experience: 2-3 years preferred.
Preferred Experience:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Experience with SQL.
- Analytical experience manipulating data and storytelling with data.
- Experience working with various Spend Management systems and Salesforce.
- Ability to work in a hybrid, remote, or on-site environment at Pennant Park.
The hourly pay rate for this position is $35.00 to $40.00 (dependent on factors including but not limited to client requirements, experience, statutory considerations, and location). Benefits available to full-time employees: medical, dental, vision, disability, life insurance, 401k and commuter benefits.
