Supply Chain Analyst
TITLE: Supply Chain Analyst
LOCATION: 100% remote while working one day during the weekend, Tuesday – Saturday or Sunday – Thursday
ANTICIPATED DURATION: 6 months with the possibility to extend
Responsibilities:
- Lead and evaluate supply chain activities including inventory management, procurement, production planning, transportation, warehousing, and distribution.
- Develop new forecasting, order replenishment, and logistics channel decision processes.
- Prepare multiple reports and dashboards; manage day-to-day replenishment activities, answer store replenishment questions, and report & follow up on all key inventory metrics.
- Oversee process improvement projects; identify key stakeholders, owners, and resources needed to execute; educate and influence key supply chain stakeholders on the benefits of new processes.
- Develop decision support tools and financial models to analyze cost/benefit tradeoffs of inventory; analyze multi-tier distribution channels for cost and service level tradeoffs.
- Develop forecasting tools to support collaborative planning with merchandising suppliers.
- Gather supply chain best practices; develop strategies in support of supply chain business case development.
- Conduct day-to-day business analysis supporting supply chain managers.
- Support central replenishment activities including the development of new forecasting tools, inventory forecasting, and replenishment strategies; partner with merchants for planning promotions, price changes, and exit strategies.
Requirements:
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Experience in supply chain and logistics analysis
- Ability to work independently and take initiative
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Experience with KPI reporting and data visualization
- Hands-on experience with SQL, Tableau and Microsoft Excel (including VLOOKUP, XLOOKUPs, and Pivot Tables)
Preferred Experience:
- Experience with Python, Google BigQuery or Power BI
- Process improvement and documentation (SOPs)
- Project management experience
The hourly pay rate range for this position is $30.00 to $40.00 (dependent on factors including but not limited to client requirements, experience, statutory considerations, and location).
