The ideal candidate brings strong information architecture skills, experience simplifying complex workflows, and the ability to design cohesive experiences across interconnected enterprise applications.
This is a highly collaborative, hands-on design opportunity for someone who enjoys solving complicated UX challenges, navigating technical and business constraints, and bringing new capabilities into established digital ecosystems.
Key Responsibilities
-
Lead information architecture and UX design efforts for new digital payment capabilities within an existing enterprise platform.
-
Design intuitive user journeys, navigation structures, workflows, wireframes, and interactive prototypes.
-
Integrate new functionality across multiple product areas, including payment initiation, customer onboarding, transaction management, and reporting.
-
Translate complex business requirements, technical dependencies, and user needs into clear, scalable design solutions.
-
Partner closely with Product Management, Engineering, UX Research, and other design teams to create cohesive end-to-end experiences.
-
Evaluate existing platform workflows and identify opportunities to improve usability, consistency, and efficiency.
-
Develop high-fidelity UI designs while leveraging established design systems, components, and interaction patterns.
-
Participate in discovery, stakeholder discussions, design reviews, and usability validation.
-
Communicate design rationale and recommendations clearly to cross-functional stakeholders.
-
Collaborate with distributed teams, including offshore partners, to support design execution and daily handoffs.
Required Qualifications
-
5–8+ years of professional UX Design, Product Design, Experience Architecture, or Interaction Design experience.
-
Strong information architecture skills, including complex user flows, journey mapping, navigation structures, and workflow optimization.
-
Demonstrated experience designing enterprise applications, transactional platforms, or complex digital products.
-
Hands-on experience with Figma or comparable design and prototyping tools.
-
Ability to take designs from discovery and conceptualization through wireframing, prototyping, and final UI execution.
-
Experience working within established design systems and navigating existing product architecture.
-
Strong communication, presentation, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
-
Ability to work independently, manage ambiguity, and balance user needs with technical and business constraints.
-
Detail-oriented, curious, and comfortable learning complex business processes.
-
Ability to collaborate effectively with globally distributed teams.
-
Ability to work onsite approximately 60% of the time at an approved Eastern Time Zone office location.
Preferred Qualifications
-
Experience designing financial services, fintech, banking, or payment processing applications.
-
Background in B2B payments, corporate banking, ACH, wire transfers, payment approvals, or transaction reporting.
-
Experience integrating new functionality into existing enterprise platforms or modernizing legacy workflows.
-
Familiarity with digital wallets, stablecoins, blockchain-based payments, or emerging financial technologies.
-
Experience with complex role-based workflows, permissions, audit trails, or regulated environments.
-
User research, usability testing, accessibility, and service design experience.
-
Experience collaborating with compliance, risk, and engineering stakeholders.
Direct stablecoin or blockchain experience is not required. Candidates with strong enterprise UX architecture experience in other industries are encouraged to apply.
Design Focus
This role is approximately:
-
60–70% UX Architecture / Information Architecture: Complex workflows, user journeys, navigation, experience integration, and problem-solving.
-
30–40% UI / Visual Design: Wireframing, high-fidelity interfaces, prototyping, and design-system execution.
We’re looking for a true UX practitioner who can think strategically about how systems and experiences connect while remaining hands-on in the design process.
Why This Opportunity?
-
Work on an emerging digital payments initiative within a large, established financial services organization.
-
Help bring new digital wallet and stablecoin capabilities from pilot toward commercialization.
-
Solve complex enterprise UX challenges involving interconnected products and payment workflows.
-
Collaborate with an experienced team of designers, product leaders, and engineers.
-
Influence how new financial technologies are integrated into real-world corporate banking experiences.
If you’re a UX Designer who thrives on complex workflows, information architecture, and enterprise product challenges, we’d love to connect!
