Budget Analyst
TITLE: Budget Analyst
LOCATION: Culver City, CA (hybrid)
ANTICIPATED DURATION: From 06/09/2026 to 06/08/2027
Responsibilities:
- Own the budgets and relationships across the organization and drive processes.
- Drive meetings with key stakeholders.
- Forecast, manage, and report on budgets and actual spend for cross-functional teams across multiple lines of business.
- Analyze large sets of data to understand P&L actuals each quarter, identify over or under spend against projects, and present variance explanations, key insights, and recommendations.
- Meticulously audit and reconcile large data sets and address issues.
- Coordinate with multiple stakeholders to troubleshoot issues around budgets, invoicing, POs, etc.
- Implement process improvements impacting multiple stakeholders with competing priorities and needs.
- Document and train on processes for internal and partner teams.
- Work with minimal supervision to drive results and make decisions independently.
- Reconcile and track invoices against forecasted spend and PO balances.
- Perform ad hoc analysis, tasks, and projects as needed.
Requirements:
- 5-7 years relevant experience in Finance, Accounting, or Budgeting.
- Solid understanding of finance and accounting concepts such as accruals, P&Ls, forecasting, fiscal planning.
- Superior analytical skills and the ability to form key, succinct insights and recommendations from comprehensive analyses involving large amounts of data.
- Ability to audit and reconcile large data sets in Excel from multiple data sources.
- Proven experience with business partnering and influencing cross-functional teams.
- Comfortable with ambiguity and able to solve problems independently in a highly matrixed organization.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills; able to clearly and concisely communicate information, policies, and deadlines to stakeholders at varying levels.
- Ability to adapt to new tools and understand how data intersects within tools.
- Works independently with minimal supervision and demonstrates initiative to drive results.
- Extensive Excel experience required.
- Flexibility with work schedule to virtually meet with partners in APAC and EMEA.
- Experience with working in a business, creative organization, and/or marketing is preferred.

The hourly pay rate range for this position is $40.00 to $45.00(dependent on factors including but not limited to client requirements, experience, statutory considerations, and location).
