TITLE: Data Intelligence Specialist III
LOCATION: Cupertino, CA (hybrid, on-site Tuesday – Thursday)
ANTICIPATED DURATION: 12 months
Responsibilities:
- Build API design and strategy for new integrations.
- Audit data/systems quality for throughput and measure the performance.
- Act as a key contributor on the team to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Lead enhancement, prioritization, and development efforts with close partnership with the business and data engineering teams.
- Work with senior stakeholders and product management to propose a roadmap and goals.
- Develop prototypes and POCs to demonstrate new ideas and technologies.
Requirements:
- 4+ years of experience in the Marketing domain.
- High proficiency in SQL (Snowflake, Vertica, MySQL, or other RDBMS).
- Strong in designing and implementing RESTful API.
- Experience in the Python programming language.
- Experience with data visualization skills required — ideally using Tableau.
- Hands-on experience in Kubernetes, Docker, or other container technologies preferred.
- Experience with Hadoop Ecosystem (HDFS, Hive, Spark, Presto, Parquet) and building large-scale data pipelines.
- Highly analytical with a proven track record in data-rich analysis, while able to translate complex analytics to business-shaping actions that are understood by business users.
- Extremely strong interpersonal skills with the ability to deliver meaningful insights from complex analysis to explain analytical outcomes and technical roadblocks in business terms.
- Ability to efficiently manage and implement quick-turn, tactical projects as a great teammate.
- A do-er and self-starter who works well in a fast-paced, dynamic team environment.
- Highly responsive and adaptable.
- Good understanding of database modeling, ETL, and data warehousing principles.
- Validated ability to build rapport and credibility, and influence others to get results across a large organization.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or a relevant technical field.
Preferred Experience:
- Hands-on experience in Kubernetes, Docker, or other container technologies.
- Experience with Hadoop Ecosystem (HDFS, Hive, Spark, Presto, Parquet) and building large-scale data pipelines.
