TITLE: Data Scientist/Machine Learning Scientist (Various Levels)
LOCATION: Remote
ANTICIPATED DURATION: 6 months

Responsibilities:

• Work with various product teams across different business units to define high-impact business problems.
• Solve business problems using novel techniques and monitor solutions throughout their lifecycle.
• Collaborate with departments to identify opportunities for process improvement and analytics use-cases.
• Evaluate the accuracy and quality of data sources and designed models.
• Stay current with the latest models and technological advancements.

Requirements:

• Advanced analytical skills and exceptional oral and written communication abilities.
• Proficiency with statistical and Machine Learning models and techniques such as Random Forests, Gradient Boosting or XGBOOST, Support Vector Machines (SVMs), Deep Learning, Clustering techniques like Kmeans or DBSCAN.
• Technical skills with computers and Big Data tools and technologies such as SQL, Python/Scala, PySpark, and SparkR.
• Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Machine Learning, Statistics, or a related field.

Preferred Experience:

• Experience with evaluating model accuracy and data source quality.
• Ability to stay updated with recent models and technological changes.
• If located in Atlanta, ability to work in-office two times a week; otherwise, full remote.

The hourly pay rate range for this position is $60.00 to $80.00 (dependent on factors including but not limited to client requirements, experience, statutory considerations, and location).
