TITLE: Marketing Specialist
LOCATION: San Francisco, CA
ANTICIPATED DURATION: 5-month W2 contract
As a Marketing Specialist, you design and maintain a favorable public image by building brand and product recognition through marketing campaigns including social media, channel marketing, or projects. You demonstrate working knowledge of marketing channels, campaigns, and projects, and an understanding of related areas of the organization including understanding of process impacts and upstream/downstream processes and functions to develop and bring marketing strategies to life. You hold self and team accountable for DEI development and outcomes, set expectations for the team, track progress through measurable results, and engage in learning and reflection. You foster a climate where everyone in the organization feels they belong through encouraging inclusive decision making, building psychological safety in the team, facilitating inclusive meetings, etc.
Responsibilities:
- Campaign Management: Manage digital acquisition campaigns ensuring launch dates and KPIs are achieved.
- Media Strategy: Partner with our media center of excellence to develop and execute the media strategy for paid media acquisitions. Develop audience targeting strategies and messaging / creative insights for Paid Media campaigns based on deep understanding of the user insights and performance.
- Performance reporting: Communicating regularly with global and regional stakeholders on program performance.
- Stakeholder Management: Partner effectively with stakeholders to ensure content and campaigns created for customer support channels are high-quality, reflect our voice, and represent the Google brand.
- Data-Driven Insights: Identify customer and campaign insights to inform growth strategies; Design test plans, track performance and continuously optimize tactics.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Hands-on experience in paid media performance marketing with Google Ads and Social Platforms.
- Proven ability to manage complex projects and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver on time.
- Ability to analyze data to draw conclusions, evaluate outcomes, and identify gaps in systems and workflows.
The hourly pay rate for this position is $64.79 to $83.14 (dependent on factors including but not limited to client requirements, experience, statutory considerations, and location). Benefits available to full-time employees: medical, dental, vision, disability, life insurance, 401k and commuter benefits.
