TITLE: Project Coordinator, UX & Communications
LOCATION: Remote (PST Hours)
ANTICIPATED DURATION: From 09/28/2026 to 03/27/2027 (with potential for extension; W2 with benefits)
Responsibilities:
- Support the redesign and ongoing maintenance of an internal organization website.
- Improve site usability, develop user flows, and coordinate updates.
- Manage monthly organizational newsletters by gathering updates, refining content, and distributing communications.
- Collaborate with stakeholders and follow up as needed.
- Balance website management with communications initiatives.
Requirements:
- Experience with project coordination, UX, or user-centered design.
- Strong visual design sensibilities and attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Comfortable gathering requirements, clarifying details, and driving timelines.
- Self-starter who can work independently with minimal oversight.
- Confident in collaborating with stakeholders.
- Ability to balance website management and communications initiatives.
Preferred Experience:
- Initial focus on website redesign transitioning to website maintenance and communications support.
- No advanced technical or web development expertise required.
- Must be able to work PST hours.
- Preference for candidates located in lower-cost markets outside of California.
The hourly pay rate range for this position is $40.00 to $45.00 (dependent on factors including but not limited to client requirements, experience, statutory considerations, and location). Benefits available to full-time employees: medical, dental, vision, disability, life insurance, 401k and commuter benefits.
