Senior Data Analyst
TITLE: Senior Data Analyst
LOCATION: Atlanta, GA or Birmingham, AL (on-site 4 days a week)
Responsibilities:
- Analyze and troubleshoot issues within BI and analytics toolsets and enterprise infrastructure supporting solutions.
- Capture, document, analyze, and correlate business information from multiple data sources.
- Scope, develop, package, and deliver new business intelligence and analytics solutions.
- Develop OLAP cubes, dashboards, reports, charts, and graphs based on customer needs.
- Design and develop ETL packages, demonstrating understanding of ETL components.
- Design, build, and deliver reports, measures, and KPIs.
- Perform detailed data analysis and develop dimensional data models.
- Serve as a BI subject matter expert to assess BI needs and map them to backend solution architectures.
- Collaborate with end users to identify needs and opportunities for improved data management and delivery.
- Collaborate with peers, mentoring team members and providing leadership as required.
Requirements:
- Experience with implementing BI/analytics solutions using the Microsoft BI/analytics toolset.
- Experience using Power BI APIs and Administrative functions.
- Experience working in a fast-paced, competitive IT organization.
- Strong technical knowledge of SQL Server Tools (Analysis Services, Integration Services, Reporting Services, PolyBase).
- Experience with Microsoft Azure and proficiency in DAX.
- Knowledge of data migration and integration.
- Deep analytical capability to debug, monitor, and troubleshoot BI solutions.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills and leadership abilities.
- Proven consulting skills and ability to influence others.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Continuous self-learner with the ability to handle multiple assignments and conflicting priorities.
- Ability to build productive relationships focusing on cooperation and teamwork.
Preferred Experience:
- Experience with Databricks.
- Administrative skills in Power BI/Fabric.
- Strong data modeling skills and understanding of data warehouse design techniques.
- Experience developing data marts, data warehouses, and tabular models.
- Familiarity with data sources such as OLTP/transactional databases.
The compensation range for this position is $110,000.00 to $126,000.00 (dependent on factors including but not limited to client requirements, experience, statutory considerations, and location).
