Senior Product Designer

Location: Atlanta, GA (Hybrid 2 Days/Week) or Fully Remote (U.S.)
Type: W2 Contract
Duration: Long-Term Contract
Compensation: $60–70/hr W2

Our client is seeking a Senior Product Designer to help shape and modernize complex dealer-facing software experiences within a large-scale automotive technology platform. This role focuses on workflow-heavy enterprise systems used daily by operational teams to manage customer engagement, sales processes, reporting, inventory visibility, and AI-assisted decision making.

This is a highly collaborative, systems-oriented product design role centered around operational efficiency, workflow orchestration, enterprise modernization, and AI-integrated product experiences.

The ideal candidate brings deep experience designing enterprise SaaS platforms, internal operational tooling, or complex workflow systems — while actively leveraging modern AI tooling throughout the product design process.

About the Product

The platform supports dealership sales representatives, managers, and operational teams by combining critical business functions into a unified enterprise ecosystem, including:

  • Lead management and prioritization
  • Customer communication workflows
  • Inventory visibility and tracking
  • Deal and pipeline management
  • Reporting, dashboards, and operational insights
  • Workflow orchestration and automation

The product is also evolving through AI-driven capabilities such as:

  • Lead scoring and prioritization
  • AI-assisted recommendations and next-best actions
  • Workflow automation and orchestration
  • Intelligent operational insights
  • Predictive and data-informed user experiences

What Makes This Role Different

This is not traditional consumer-facing UX work focused primarily on polished UI or marketing experiences.

This role is centered around:

  • Enterprise operational systems
  • Workflow-heavy internal tooling
  • CRM ecosystems and admin platforms
  • Data-dense interfaces and dashboards
  • AI-assisted workflows and automation
  • Legacy modernization initiatives
  • High-volume operational users who rely on speed, clarity, and efficiency

Designers successful in this environment tend to be highly systems-oriented, operationally minded, and comfortable navigating technical and organizational complexity.

What You’ll Do

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the design of complex enterprise workflows and operational product experiences across desktop and mobile platforms
  • Translate business goals, operational requirements, and user needs into scalable, user-centered solutions
  • Drive end-to-end product design efforts from discovery and systems mapping through prototyping, delivery, and iteration
  • Partner closely with product managers, engineers, and operational stakeholders to influence roadmap direction and product strategy
  • Design workflow-heavy systems involving interconnected user journeys, operational dependencies, and complex business logic
  • Create and refine:
    • User flows
    • Service blueprints
    • Information architecture
    • Wireframes
    • High-fidelity UI
    • Interactive prototypes
    • System models and workflow diagrams
  • Conduct and synthesize user research, usability testing, and operational discovery sessions
  • Facilitate workshops, critiques, and collaborative working sessions across cross-functional teams
  • Contribute to and evolve scalable design systems and interaction patterns
  • Partner closely with engineering teams to ensure high-quality implementation and delivery
  • Leverage AI tooling to accelerate research, prototyping, workflow exploration, and design execution
  • Help modernize legacy systems and operational workflows into scalable, intelligent product ecosystems
  • Balance strategic thinking with hands-on execution in fast-moving agile environments

AI & Modern Product Workflow Expectations

This team is actively integrating AI into both the product experience and the internal product development process.

Successful candidates should be comfortable leveraging modern AI tooling throughout research, prototyping, systems exploration, workflow orchestration, and cross-functional collaboration.

Strong preference for candidates with hands-on experience using tools and workflows such as:

  • Claude Code
  • Figma Make
  • VS Code
  • Cursor
  • v0
  • ChatGPT / Gemini
  • AI-assisted prototyping workflows
  • AI-powered research and synthesis tools

Ideal candidates are not just AI-aware, but actively integrating AI into how they think, prototype, collaborate, and solve operational workflow problems.
