About the Role
We’re looking for a UX Architect / Design Systems Designer to support a large-scale enterprise banking platform focused on corporate and treasury-related digital experiences.
This role is heavily centered around:
- Design systems
- Component modernization
- Accessibility improvements
- Scalable Figma library management
- Visual systems execution
This is not a greenfield product strategy role. Instead, this is a hands-on opportunity for someone who enjoys refining and evolving existing systems, collaborating closely with engineering teams, and bringing mature component libraries into alignment with modern accessibility and design standards.
The work supports complex enterprise workflows related to:
- Payroll
- Vendor payments
- Treasury operations
- Corporate banking platforms
What You’ll Be Doing
- Update and modernize existing design system components
- Improve accessibility and usability across component libraries
- Build and maintain scalable Figma libraries and UI patterns
- Partner closely with developers to ensure implementation accuracy
- Refine and evolve existing enterprise design systems
- Support visual consistency across large-scale enterprise platforms
- Contribute to component documentation and scalable system standards
- Collaborate with:
- Design leads
- Engineers
- Product stakeholders
- Accessibility partners
What We’re Looking For
Design Systems Expertise
- Strong experience building and maintaining design systems
- Deep understanding of:
- Components
- Tokens
- Pattern libraries
- Scalable UI systems
- Strong Figma component architecture experience
Visual/UI Design Strength
- Polished visual design skills
- Strong attention to detail and consistency
- Experience designing enterprise-grade UI systems
Accessibility Experience
- Understanding of accessible component design
- Experience improving accessibility within existing systems
- Familiarity with accessibility-driven UI modernization
Engineering Collaboration
- Comfortable working closely with developers
- Understanding of implementation realities and technical constraints
- Experience supporting scalable component implementation
Required Qualifications
- 5–10+ years of UX/Product/UI Design experience
- Advanced Figma expertise
- Design systems and component library experience
- Strong visual/UI design skills
- Accessibility experience
- Experience working within structured enterprise environments
- Strong collaboration skills with engineering teams
Nice-to-Have Experience
- Banking or fintech experience
- Enterprise SaaS or B2B platform experience
- Corporate workflow or operational tooling experience
- Experience modernizing legacy systems
Portfolio Expectations
Candidates should be prepared to showcase:
- Design system contributions
- Component-building work
- Figma libraries and scalable UI systems
- Accessibility-focused improvements
- Collaboration with engineering teams
Case studies should focus on:
- Systems execution
- Component thinking

Work Environment
- Hybrid preferred (3+ days/week onsite in Cincinnati)
- Remote candidates may be considered
- East Coast or Central Time preferred
- Highly collaborative Agile product environment
- Strong partnership with engineering teams

The hourly pay range for this position (dependent on factors including but not limited to client requirements, experience, statutory considerations, and location) is $65.00 to $68.97/hr. Benefits available to full-time employees: medical, dental, vision, disability, life insurance, 401k and commuter benefits.
