About the Role
We’re looking for an Experience Designer with a strong focus on information architecture and system design to support a complex, enterprise product environment.
This role centers on designing role-based, workflow-driven experiences within a platform that is evolving from multiple legacy systems into a more unified, scalable solution. You’ll be working on highly structured, data-driven experiences where clarity, usability, and system logic are critical.
This is not a visual/UI-heavy role — it’s about structuring complexity and creating intuitive, buildable experiences.
What You’ll Be Working On
- Designing experiences for user management and workflow-driven systems
- Supporting the evolution and migration of existing features into a more modern platform
- Structuring experiences across:
- Multiple user roles and permission levels
- Different customer types and use cases
- Creating solutions that scale across web platforms, with future mobile considerations
Key Responsibilities
- Define and evolve information architecture, user flows, and interaction patterns
- Translate complex requirements into clear, structured workflows
- Break down ambiguous problems into practical, solvable components
- Design wireframes and prototypes in Figma that are ready for development
- Ensure solutions align with system constraints, data structures, and technical feasibility
- Collaborate closely with:
- Product managers
- Engineers
- Cross-functional stakeholders
- Contribute to solutions within an established design system
What We’re Looking For
- 5–8 years of UX/Product Design experience, with strong focus on IA and system design
- Proven experience designing complex, workflow-based or enterprise applications
- Strong skills in:
- Information architecture
- User flows and journey mapping
- Problem framing and discovery
- Experience working in Agile environments using Figma
- Ability to work through ambiguity and evolving requirements
- Strong collaboration skills with technical and product teams
- Experience delivering build-ready, feasible design solutions
Nice to Have
- Experience in financial services, fintech, or other regulated environments
- Familiarity with role-based systems or permission-driven experiences
- Experience working on platform migrations or system consolidation efforts
- Understanding of accessibility (WCAG) principles
Work Environment
- Hybrid in Atlanta (3 days/week onsite, flexible) or Remote (U.S.)
- Collaborative, cross-functional product team
- Strong emphasis on ownership, execution, and clarity of thinking
Why This Role
- Work on complex, high-impact systems used at scale
- Opportunity to shape core platform experiences
- Long-term contract with strong potential for extension into 2027
- Ideal for designers who enjoy solving deep, system-level problems
Bottom Line
This role is ideal for someone who thrives on:
- Turning complex systems into intuitive experiences
- Working through ambiguity and constraints
- Delivering solutions that are practical, scalable, and buildable
