AI ML Sr. Backend Engineer

Required Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent
- Over 10 years of programming experience with Python
- Strong expertise in concurrency, parallelism, functional programming, and decorators
- Proficiency in REST APIs, Redis, VectorDB, and large-scale data storage systems
- Solid understanding of algorithms, data structures, and object-oriented programming
- Experience designing, testing, and delivering scalable software applications and systems
- Familiarity with other programming languages such as Java, GoLang, Rust, or Swift
Nice to Have Skills:
- Experience with streaming-processing tools like Kafka
- Knowledge of build tools such as Jenkins, Maven, Docker, or Gradle
- Ability to provide architecture and design guidance
- Strong communication skills, active listening, and empathy
- Self-motivated, curious, and committed to continuous learning
- Demonstrated creative and critical thinking with a high tolerance for ambiguity
Preferred Education and Experience:
- A master’s or higher degree in Computer Science or related fields is a plus
- Extensive hands-on experience in data pipeline development, large-scale inference, and data filtering
- Proven track record of improving system performance and efficiency in AI/ML projects

The hourly pay rate range for this position is $75.00 to $92.54 (dependent on factors including but not limited to client requirements, experience, statutory considerations, and location). Benefits available to full-time employees: medical, dental, vision, disability, life insurance, 401k and commuter benefits.
