TITLE: ServiceNow Product Owner
LOCATION: Atlanta, GA (downtown – 4 days per week onsite)
ANTICIPATED DURATION: From 06/01/2026 to 12/31/2026
Responsibilities:
- Lead the vision, roadmap, and delivery of ServiceNow capabilities to improve employee and customer experiences.
- Partner with stakeholders, architects, and delivery teams to translate business needs into well-defined user stories.
- Prioritize the backlog and ensure value is delivered iteratively using Agile best practices.
- Own the product vision, strategy, and prioritized backlog for ServiceNow Integrated Risk Management.
- Support the implementation efforts of the ServiceNow IRM platform in conjunction with implementation partners.
- Write clear epics, features, and user stories with acceptance criteria; refine the backlog for delivery readiness.
- Collaborate with the Scrum Master and delivery team for sprint planning, execution, reviews, and retrospectives.
- Coordinate cross-team dependencies to enable smooth delivery.
- Validate delivered functionality against acceptance criteria and support UAT planning.
- Monitor product health and adoption using KPIs such as cycle time, SLA attainment, and CSAT/NPS.
- Maintain documentation including roadmaps, release notes, and stakeholder communications.
Requirements:
- 3+ years of Product Owner (or similar) experience delivering software products in an Agile/Scrum environment.
- Hands-on experience with the ServiceNow platform (administration, configuration, or product delivery).
- Demonstrated ability to create and manage a product backlog, write user stories, and define acceptance criteria.
- Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to align priorities to measurable outcomes.
- Working knowledge of IT service management and enterprise workflow automation concepts.
- Experience collaborating with technical teams on integrations, data flows, and platform constraints.
- Excellent communication skills—able to translate between business needs and technical implementation.
Preferred Experience:
- ServiceNow certifications (e.g., Certified System Administrator, CIS in relevant module, CAD).
- Experience with ServiceNow modules such as IRM, ITSM, ITOM, CMDB, Discovery, Workflow Data Fabric, or Flow Designer.
- Experience with enterprise integrations (REST/SOAP APIs, Workflow Data Fabric, MID Server) and identity/access concepts.
- Familiarity with reporting and performance analytics; ability to define and track product KPIs.
- Background in ITIL practices, Lean product management, or scaled delivery frameworks (e.g., SAFe).
- Experience working in regulated environments with security, privacy, or audit requirements.
The hourly pay rate range for this position is $60.00 to $80.00 (dependent on factors including but not limited to client requirements, experience, statutory considerations, and location).
