UX Generalist / UX Architect (Claims & Enterprise Workflow Experience)
Location: Remote – Must be located in Dallas, TX, Chicago, IL, Atlanta, GA, or Phoenix, AZ
Duration: Long-Term W2 Contract
Rate: $60–65/hr W2
We are seeking a UX Generalist / UX Architect to join a large-scale enterprise claims and operations product team focused on modernizing customer and associate experiences across complex digital platforms. This role will support both new product initiatives and modernization efforts tied to enterprise workflow migration and operational transformation programs.
The ideal candidate has strong experience working within enterprise product ecosystems, collaborating closely with product and engineering teams, and designing workflow-heavy operational systems. This person should be comfortable owning UX strategy and execution across the full design lifecycle while helping scale and evolve enterprise design system adoption across multiple product teams.
Key Responsibilities:
• Collaborate closely with product managers, engineers, architects, and business stakeholders to identify customer pain points and define user-centered solutions
• Design and architect workflow-heavy enterprise experiences across customer and associate-facing products
• Create journey maps, process flows, wireframes, conceptual diagrams, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs to communicate UX strategy and interaction behaviors
• Contribute to modernization and migration initiatives across enterprise operational platforms
• Leverage design systems, pattern libraries, and UX standards to create scalable and consistent user experiences
• Partner with technology teams to deliver production-ready UX solutions and support implementation efforts
• Advocate for user-centered design decisions grounded in usability research, service design methodologies, and customer empathy
• Present design concepts, workflows, and strategic recommendations clearly to cross-functional stakeholders and leadership
• Support continued adoption and evolution of enterprise design systems across multiple product teams
Required Qualifications:
• 5+ years of UX/Product Design experience in enterprise or corporate environments
• Strong experience designing complex workflow-driven enterprise applications or operational systems
• Experience with journey mapping, process flows, service design, and UX architecture
• Advanced Figma proficiency including prototyping and design systems
• Strong understanding of Agile product development and collaboration with software engineering teams
• Experience working within established design systems and scalable UX frameworks
• Ability to communicate design rationale clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Strong collaboration, facilitation, and presentation skills
• Experience balancing business objectives, operational constraints, and customer needs
Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience modernizing legacy enterprise platforms or supporting migration initiatives
• Familiarity with enterprise claims, operations, CRM, or workflow management systems
• Experience conducting usability studies, empathy research, or workflow analysis
• Understanding of front-end development principles and design-to-development collaboration
• Experience supporting operational users, customer service workflows, or associate-facing tooling
The hourly pay range for this position (dependent on factors including but not limited to client requirements, experience, statutory considerations, and location) is $60.00 to $65.00/hr.
