Logistics Operations Manager
TITLE: Logistics Operations Manager
LOCATION: Ann Arbor, MI (on-site 5 days a week)
ANTICIPATED DURATION: 7 months
Responsibilities:
- Manage logistics and material flow, including planning and aligning the yearly shipping schedule to ensure timely deliveries.
- Coordinate daily operations to meet production commitments and forecast capacity to avoid bottlenecks.
- Serve as the primary operational contact for partners, handling issue management such as shipment changes and damage reports.
- Oversee daily scan center operations, review metrics, and guide vendor resource adjustments.
- Perform annual process audits for compliance and manage SOPs to promote operational efficiency.
Requirements:
- Ability to orchestrate complex shipping schedules and manage global material inventories.
- Strong interpersonal and relationship management skills for external stakeholder communication.
- Track daily production metrics, advise on resource allocation, and conduct operational audits.
- Experience in standardizing process documentation to ensure compliance and continuous improvement.
The hourly pay rate range for this position is $75 to $88.40 (dependent on factors including but not limited to client requirements, experience, statutory considerations, and location).
