ServiceNow Developer II performs analysis, design, implementation, and maintenance of multi-product modules/sub-systems to ensure that business needs are met. The ideal candidate will have experience in configuring, customizing, and integrating ServiceNow applications, ensuring they align with business objectives. This role requires strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and implement ServiceNow applications and modules based on business needs.
- Customize ServiceNow workflows, UI policies, client scripts, business rules, and ACLs.
- Develop integrations between ServiceNow and other enterprise systems using REST/SOAP APIs, MID Server, and Integration Hub.
- Maintain and optimize ServiceNow applications to ensure high performance and reliability.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to ServiceNow functionalities.
- Participate in Agile development cycles, including sprint planning, development, testing, and deployment.
- Ensure compliance with IT security policies and best practices in ServiceNow implementations.
- Create and maintain technical documentation, including system configurations and development standards.
- Provide support for ServiceNow upgrades and enhancements.
- Candidates shall possess the skill to develop on the ServiceNow platform including the creation and/or customization of the core applications.
- Identify automation opportunities and make recommendation for improvements.
- Analyze requirements and accurately estimate the effort of work to design, create and implement solutions.
- Design and implement process workflows, procedures, and technical standards.
- Collaborate with other developers, analysts, and stakeholders to perform and complete daily activities.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience working with ServiceNow development.
- Hands on experience with ServiceNow modules such as ITSM, ITOM, ITAM, or CSM.
- Proficiency in ServiceNow scripting (JavaScript, GlideScript, Jelly, and AngularJS).
- Proficiency in developing Workspaces and Service Portal widgets in ServiceNow.
- Strong understanding of ServiceNow data structures, table relationships, and ACLs.
- Experience with ServiceNow integrations using REST/SOAP APIs and authentication methods.
- Familiarity with ServiceNow Flow Designer, Integration Hub, and Workflow Editor.
- Familiarity with ServiceNow Scoped Applications and App Engine development.
- Experience in writing and optimizing ServiceNow database queries.
- Knowledge of Agile methodologies and experience in working within Agile teams.
- ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) certification preferred.
- ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD) or other relevant certifications are a plus.
The compensation range for this position is $120,000 to $130,000
(dependent on factors including but not limited to client requirements, experience, statutory considerations, and location).
