Network Security Administrator – Guardium
Location: Atlanta, GA

About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled Network Security Administrator with a strong background in IBM Guardium to design, implement, and maintain network security policies across the enterprise. The ideal candidate will have hands‑on experience with Guardium (version 11.x or later) in a production environment and a deep understanding of threat detection, vulnerability management, and protection strategies. You will work closely with engineers to ensure seamless, network‑wide security and will be responsible for analyzing and reporting security incidents and attempted breaches.
Responsibilities:

• Design and implement network security policies across the enterprise
• Analyze and report on computer network security breaches and attempted attacks
• Maintain and configure Guardium environments (version 11.x or later)
• Operate, install, and configure GIM (Guardium Installation Manager) on RHEL and Windows platforms
• Create and manage Guardium policies and user groups
• Leverage Guardium Insights for advanced reporting and analytics
• Collaborate with engineering teams to maintain robust security across the network
• Maintain proficiency with MSSQL and Oracle databases as required

Qualifications:

• 3–5 years of experience in network security or related role
• Hands‑on experience with IBM Guardium 11.x or later in a production environment
• Strong knowledge of threat detection and vulnerability mitigation strategies
• Experience with GIM installation and configuration (RHEL, Windows)
• Proficient in creating and managing Guardium policies and groups
• Skilled in Guardium Insights for reporting and data analysis
• Strong communication and collaboration abilities
