Marketing Communications Lead 
Hybrid – 3 days onsite in Baltimore Maryland or Irvine California
W 6-month contract to hire

The Marketing Communications Lead will develop and execute integrated marketing and communication strategies that strengthen the company’s brand, engage key audiences, and drive business growth. This role requires a strong mix of strategic thinking, content development, campaign management, and cross-functional collaboration.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in the development and execution of the company’s marketing communication strategy across digital, print, and social media.
• Create compelling content and messaging for campaigns, website, email marketing, social media, blogs, and sales collateral.
• Lead brand consistency and tone across all customer touchpoints.
• Collaborate with sales, and internal teams to align marketing efforts with business goals and customer needs.
• Analyze campaign performance metrics and adjust strategies to optimize engagement and ROI.
• Identify opportunities to increase brand visibility and thought leadership in the moving industry.
• Assist with internal communication initiatives to improve employee engagement and brand advocacy.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, English, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in marketing communications, ideally with exposure to service-based industries or logistics/moving.
• Exceptional writing, editing, and storytelling skills.
• Strong understanding of SEO, digital marketing platforms, email marketing tools (e.g., Mailchimp, HubSpot), and CRM systems.
• Experience leading campaigns from concept to execution, with an eye for design and user experience.
• Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple initiatives at once.
• Self-starter with a proactive attitude and problem-solving mindset.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience working in a B2C and/or B2B environment.
