    Curriculum Program Manager Duration:  6 months W2 Contract Mountain View, CA Work Schedule (onsite/hybrid/remote): Mostly remote, must be local to area and available to come onsite as needed   Project Overview:  Goal of this project is to develop concise and effective training programs for new Waymo operators by adapting existing training materials for processes, procedures, and technology across various work areas. The new trainings are for Customer Support operators in several learning programs.  The training will focus on the specific tasks and responsibilities of the new operator roles, developing a well-structured program, eliminating unnecessary content and optimizing the learning experience. Overall Responsibilities:  As an instructional designer, you will be responsible for the following at the programmatic level: Program management: Manage the development of new and existing programs, ensuring that they meet departmental standards and business objectives. Program development: Develop the overarching structure of the training program to ensure the proper alignment with safety standards, instructional resources, assessment structure, and learner engagement. Content Analysis: Thoroughly review and analyze existing and newly developed training materials to identify essential components relevant to new operators' tasks. Training Optimization: Identify opportunities to consolidate repetitive training activities, reduce training time, or enhance learning efficiency. Instructional Design: Apply expert instructional design principles to develop engaging and effective training materials for new operators.   Top Daily Responsibilities: Manage the development of program content by the content development team: Frequently check-in to discuss project progress, challenges, and upcoming tasks. Collaborate on content prioritization and sequencing for optimal learning. Remove or escalate blockers to content development to ensure timely delivery. Write Training Content Development Requirements: Clearly define learning objectives for each training module. Outline specific topics, key points, and skill demonstrations to be included.
