Job Title: Principal Product Manager – Top of Funnel Site Experience

About the Role

Our client is seeking a Principal Product Manager to join their Top of Funnel Site Experience team. This role is critical in shaping the first impression customers have when visiting the site by leading discovery, strategy, and planning for key entry experiences such as bundle information pages, apron experiences, and product information pages (PIPs).

This is a highly strategic position requiring exceptional stakeholder management and a forward-thinking approach to ecommerce product development. You’ll collaborate with merchandising, site experience, and technology teams to deliver best-in-class shopping experiences and help define future AI capabilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead product discovery and strategy for top of funnel site experiences, ensuring a seamless and engaging entry point for customers.

• Define and execute a clear roadmap for future site enhancements, including innovative “magic apron” experiences.

• Collaborate with division merchandising managers to understand online merchandising strategies, customer pain points, and align initiatives with business priorities.

• Develop strategy and requirements for future AI capabilities in ecommerce, planning one to two quarters ahead.

• Support SVP-level planning and prepare deliverables for the 2026 strategic vision process.

• Partner with 2 Senior Managers and 11 Product Managers to align efforts across the organization.

• Leverage Adobe Analytics, Tableau, and Excel for data analysis, ROI forecasting, and informed decision-making.

• Act as a thought leader on applying AI and Generative AI to ecommerce to enhance customer experiences.

Ideal Candidate Profile

• Ecommerce Expertise: Proven experience optimizing ecommerce site experiences for customer engagement and conversion.

• AI Knowledge: Understanding of AI and Generative AI technologies and their application in ecommerce.

• Strategic Leadership: Skilled in defining product roadmaps and leading high-level strategy initiatives.

• Data-Driven: Strong analytical skills with experience using Adobe Analytics, Tableau, Excel, and forecasting ROI.

• Stakeholder Management: Excellent ability to influence and align cross-functional teams and senior leadership.

• Leadership: Comfortable working in ambiguous environments and setting direction for multiple teams.

Preferred Qualifications

• 8–10+ years of product management experience, including senior or principal-level roles.

• Extensive background in ecommerce and customer experience optimization.

• Experience in large-scale, enterprise-level digital platforms.

• AI and GenAI project experience strongly preferred.

• Start Date: ASAP (to support team coverage during upcoming maternity leave).

• Work Schedule: Must work EST hours.

• Employment Type: W2 Contract (remote within the U.S.).

• Pay Rate: $80–$100/hour based on experience.

  The hourly pay range for this position (dependent on factors including but not limited to client requirements, experience, statutory considerations, and location) is $80.00 to $100.00/hr.
