TITLE: Associate Program Specialist
LOCATION: Peachtree City, GA (on-site 2 days a week and remote 3 days a week)
ANTICIPATED DURATION: 12 months

Responsibilities:

  • Support program management and customer activities through coordination of prototype builds, data entry, and registration tasks.
  • Track material required dates, maintain shipping schedules, and ensure timely delivery by monitoring purchase orders.
  • Work collaboratively with project teams to resolve issues and contribute to process improvements.
  • Perform administrative, clerical, and basic analytical tasks related to program administration.
  • Support activities for prototype and preproduction builds using email, MS Excel, and SAP.
  • Register program names, development codes, and planning numbers to support business planning and program administration.
  • Support new model/part registration and revisions using Excel, Salesforce, Winshuttle, Agile, and SAP.
  • Track customer material required date (MRDs) and maintain detailed ship schedules.
  • Support invoicing and material disposition as directed, using various customer portals and scheduling tools.
  • Support the administration of the Global Project Management Process (GPMP) and Program Launch System (PLS).
  • Create and maintain timing data in the GPMP-PLS system to support performance measurement.
  • Work with project team members to identify open issues and drive resolution.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

Requirements:

  • A two- or four-year college degree in business, administration, management, operations, engineering, technology, or a related field, or three (3) years of previous experience in program/project or office administration preferred.
  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft tools, including Teams, SharePoint, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Experience with or aptitude for SAP required.
  • Demonstrated leadership ability.
  • Ability to build productive internal/external relationships.
  • Proven ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Ability to participate in cross-functional teams and communicate effectively.

Preferred Experience:

  • Experience with Microsoft Project, Visio, and PowerApps is preferred.
  • Prior experience with SAP or other End-to-End ERP/MRP tools is preferred.
  • Knowledge of automotive product development and Automotive Exchange/Covisint is preferred.
  • Ability to learn new computer applications and complete necessary training or certifications.

The hourly pay rate range for this position is $23.62 to $27.97 (dependent on factors including but not limited to client requirements, experience, statutory considerations, and location).
