eCommerce Product Manager – Top of Funnel
LOCATION: Atlanta/Marietta, GA
ANTICIPATED DURATION: 6 months + extensions
Product Manager – Responsibilities:
We are looking for an experienced eCommerce Product Manager to support the execution and continued evolution of a large-scale digital commerce experience. This role will focus on the top-of-funnel customer journey, spanning the homepage through product discovery, browse, product listing and product detail experiences.
The overall product direction and strategy are established. This person will be highly tactical and execution-focused, taking defined priorities and translating them into detailed requirements and user stories that engineering teams can build against.
The right person is comfortable getting into the details, working closely with UX and engineering, managing a backlog, identifying edge cases and dependencies, and helping move work from an idea or defined experience through development and delivery.
What You'll Do
-
Own detailed product execution across key eCommerce experiences from the homepage through the product detail page.
-
Translate defined product direction, business requirements and customer needs into clear epics, features, user stories and acceptance criteria.
-
Write detailed user stories that give engineering teams the information needed to confidently execute.
-
Partner closely with engineering throughout refinement, development, testing and release.
-
Work with UX and design partners to ensure experience requirements and intended behaviors are clearly understood before development.
-
Identify business rules, edge cases, dependencies and gaps before they become development blockers.
-
Manage and refine the product backlog based on established priorities and roadmap direction.
-
Participate actively in backlog grooming, sprint planning, demos and other delivery ceremonies.
-
Work through questions and tradeoffs that surface during development and help keep delivery moving.
-
Partner with business and technical stakeholders to communicate progress, decisions, risks and dependencies.
-
Support QA/UAT and validate that delivered experiences meet the intended requirements.
-
Use customer, business and eCommerce performance insights to inform detailed product decisions and continuous improvements.
The hourly pay rate for this position is $65-70/hr. Benefits available to full-time employees: medical, dental, vision, disability, life insurance, 401k and commuter benefits.
