TITLE: Engagement Optimization Lead
LOCATION: Cupertino, CA (hybrid)
ANTICIPATED DURATION: From 09/22/2026 to 09/21/2027
Responsibilities:
- Measure and drive efficacy to increase TV content engagement on TV App, focusing on live sports portfolio.
- Collaborate with product, analytics, and editorial teams to optimize content presentation and engagement.
- Monitor key engagement metrics and indicators, maintaining dialogue with business teams to ensure optimized engagement.
- Drive improvement in impression to tap and impression to play rates for client, including live and on-demand sports content.
- Build resources for business reviews, such as Keynotes, and prepare analyses and recommendations for senior executives.
- Stay current on viewership tactics used by competitors, especially in live sports packaging and presentation.
- Manage cross-functional relationships and initiatives with minimal guidance.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 5+ years of experience in an analytical role, ideally within a subscription business, with a record of deriving insights from content presentation analysis.
- Knowledge and passion for streaming services UI and products, especially tactics for driving engagement in live sports environments.
- Experience working with or analyzing engagement data related to professional team sports.
- Familiarity with engagement rhythms of sports like baseball, football, or motorsports, including content and merchandising opportunities.
- Strong analytical and creative problem-solving skills, data-driven, flexible, and capable of quick adaptation.
- Cross-functional collaboration experience and interpersonal savvy.
- Ability to synthesize data into strategic recommendations and compelling presentations for senior leadership.
- Bachelor's degree required.
Preferred Experience:
- Successfully led significant cross-functional initiatives in large, complex organizations.
- Experience working independently and collaboratively, leading through influence in a matrixed environment.
- Strategic thinking on business needs, combined with tactical execution.
- Proven track record translating sports rights or live event data into actionable recommendations to enhance fan engagement.
- MBA preferred.
The hourly pay rate range for this position is $65.00 to $78.35 (dependent on factors including but not limited to client requirements, experience, statutory considerations, and location).
