Workday HCM Consultant

What You'll Do:
Support the configuration, enhancement, and optimization of core HR and enterprise applications, focusing on Workday HCM modules. Collaborate closely with business stakeholders to gather requirements, translate them into scalable solutions, and participate in design, testing, and deployment activities. Lead efforts to automate business processes, streamline workflows, and improve overall employee and stakeholder experience. You will also coordinate user acceptance testing, track issues, and ensure seamless delivery of system capabilities, working alongside cross-functional teams and executive leadership.
Required Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Engineering, Human Resources, or related field
- 5+ years of technical experience in Workday HCM solutions, including requirements gathering, solution design, prototyping, and testing
- Strong understanding of Workday Core HCM configuration and business processes
- Ability to analyze current and future product development needs, evaluate new applications, and support automation initiatives
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
Nice to Have Skills:
- Global configuration experience in Workday
- Knowledge of offer letter configuration, job requisitions, and dynamic process configuration
- Experience with HR functions such as payroll, recruiting, staffing, and benefits
- Familiarity with broader HR tech platforms like Jira and the HR technology ecosystem
- Skills in configuring complex workflows and business rules
- Knowledge of cloud security threats and vulnerabilities
Preferred Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (preferred)
- 5+ years of hands-on experience working with Workday HCM, including in global or multinational settings desirable
Other Requirements:
- Ability to travel occasionally if needed (not specified but tailored to role)
- Relevant certifications such as MCP+ Internet, Java, XML, or other technical credentials are advantageous

The hourly pay rate range for this position is $65.00 to $71.00 (dependent on factors including but not limited to client requirements, experience, statutory considerations, and location). Benefits available to full-time employees: medical, dental, vision, disability, life insurance, 401k and commuter benefits.
