NPI Security Engineer
Title: NPI Security Engineer
Location: Mountain View, CA 94043
Duration: 6 Months
Responsibilities:
- Monitor the review pipeline to ensure security findings are remediated before product launches.
- Develop deep technical expertise in security engineering focus areas or maintain a broader, big picture view.
- Deliver contributions towards existing security projects with minimal assistance and produce high-quality engineering artifacts.
- Address escalated security issues, share knowledge, and assist junior team members.
- Establish relationships with stakeholders to contribute to project collaborations.
- Design and implement tools or processes to solve security problems with minimal guidance.
- Contribute features and bug fixes to existing tools and products.
- Operate security systems, analyze threats, and execute security procedures.
- Manage operational tasks independently and escalate when necessary.
- Identify and implement improvements to tools, processes, or guidelines.
- Evaluate security and risk aspects of interconnected products, systems, or services, and communicate risks to stakeholders.
- Recommend mitigations to security issues.

the hourly pay rate range for this position is $0.00 to $100.21 (dependent on factors including but not limited to client requirements, experience, statutory considerations, and location).
