What You’ll Do:
- Design mechanical components, including plastic or metal parts, assemblies, printed circuit boards, and flexes.
- Utilize advanced CAD tools such as 3D MCAD, NX, Creo, or Solidworks to develop and refine designs.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure designs meet functional, quality, and reliability standards.
- Create detailed drawings and documentation to streamline manufacturing processes.
- Support prototype development and conduct testing, iterating designs based on feedback.
Required Skills:
- 5+ years of experience designing mechanical components and assemblies.
- Proficiency in CAD tools like 3D MCAD, NX, Creo, or Solidworks.
- Strong understanding of mechanical design principles and technical drawings.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with meticulous attention to detail.
- Effective communicator and team player capable of functioning in a collaborative environment.
Nice to Have Skills:
- Experience with flex designs or printed circuit boards (additional experience preferred).
- Knowledge of manufacturing processes and material properties.
Preferred Education and Experience:
- While specific educational background details are not provided, a relevant degree in Mechanical Engineering, Design, or related fields is advantageous.
- A minimum of 5 years of professional experience in mechanical design and CAD modeling.

The hourly pay rate range for this position is $80.00 to $92.00 (dependent on factors including but not limited to client requirements, experience, statutory considerations, and location). Benefits available to full-time employees: medical, dental, vision, disability, life insurance, 401k and commuter benefits.
