Supply Chain Planner
Title: Supply Chain Planner
Location: Sunnyvale, CA
Duration: 3 Months
Responsibilities:
- Analyze forecasted demand and inventory to develop weekly supply plans that meet customer demand
- Execute weekly plans to minimize future gaps and maximize inventory turns
- Analyze and set system parameters to optimize inventory, meet service level goals, and minimize costs
- Maintain and update ERP master data for planning parts across various plants, including initiating Engineering Change requests based on material life cycle
- Analyze and resolve product backlogs and fill rates daily, identifying problem areas and driving functional groups to correct issues
- Partner with cross-functional teams (finished goods planning and factory operations) to ensure sufficient capacity and materials to meet supply requirements
- Publish weekly factory forecasts and communicate deltas and gaps clearly to support supply-demand matching
Requirements:
- Strong analytical skills combined with business acumen to make operational decisions
- Effective collaboration and communication skills to influence peers and executive management
- Demonstrated expertise in supply chain management concepts, including forecasting, demand planning, and inventory optimization
- Experience with ERP planning solutions (e.g., SAP, Oracle)
- Bachelor’s degree in business, supply chain management, mathematics, engineering, logistics, or related field
- Minimum 3 years of forecasting, planning, purchasing, inventory, or related experience
- Proven track record delivering operational KPIs while managing projects and initiatives
Preferred Experience:
- APICS certification
- MBA or Master’s degree in supply chain, logistics, or industrial engineering
- Experience in electronic product service supply chain
- Experience with forward supply chain
The hourly pay rate range for this position is $ $0.00 to $ $55.97 (dependent on factors including but not limited to client requirements, experience, statutory considerations, and location).
