Technical Project & Billing Operations Manager  

Are you a highly organized, detail-oriented professional with a passion for managing complex technical projects and streamlined billing operations? We are seeking an experienced Technical Project & Billing Operations Manager to join our dynamic team. In this pivotal role, you will oversee multiple technical workstreams within large-scale Groups & Events projects while executing precise end-to-end billing processes. Your expertise will ensure seamless coordination across technical, operational, and financial teams, driving efficiency and accuracy at every step.

Key Responsibilities:  

  • Manage multiple technical workstreams, coordinating activities, dependencies, and risks across cross-functional teams.  
  • Facilitate project meetings, track milestones, and escalate issues as necessary to ensure timely delivery.  
  • Oversee the end-to-end billing process, maintaining accurate records, validating charges, reconciling accounts, and resolving discrepancies.  
  • Develop and update SOPs, process maps, and job aids to improve billing accuracy, efficiency, and scalability.  
  • Identify opportunities for automation and process enhancements, recommending practical solutions to increase productivity.  
  • Collaborate closely with Product, Technology, Vendors, Finance, and Legal teams to ensure seamless project and billing execution.


Required Skills & Qualifications:  

  • Proven experience managing technical projects with multiple dependencies, vendors, and stakeholders.  
  • Hands-on billing, invoicing, financial operations, or accounts receivable experience.  
  • Strong process documentation skills and the ability to develop SOPs, workflows, and templates.  
  • Proficiency in data analysis, reconciliation, and audit-ready record keeping.  
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and follow-through abilities. 
  • Advanced Excel skills (lookups, pivot tables, data validation) and familiarity with PowerPoint, Word, Teams, and project management tools.


Nice-to-Have Skills:  

  • Experience supporting SaaS, enterprise tech, or systems integration projects.  
  • Background in hospitality technology, hotel systems, or event management industries.  
  • Knowledge of vendor invoicing, recurring billing, contract-based charges, and dispute resolution.  
  • Experience with project tools such as Jira, Confluence, and Planview.  
  • Project management certification or comparable hands-on experience.


Preferred Education & Experience:  

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Information Technology, or related field. 
  • At least 3-5 years of applicable project management or financial operations experience, ideally supporting technology or enterprise systems.

  • Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities.  
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.  
  • Willingness to adapt and improve processes continually.

The hourly pay rate range for this position is $70.00to $73.00 (dependent on factors including but not limited to client requirements, experience, statutory considerations, and location). Benefits available to full-time employees: medical, dental, vision, disability, life insurance, 401k and commuter benefits.
