UX Design Manager – Enterprise Software
Overview
We're partnering with a large-scale enterprise technology organization seeking a hands-on UX Design Manager to lead a team focused on a complex business-critical platform. This is not a role where you'll sit above the work—it's ideal for someone who enjoys balancing leadership, coaching, stakeholder management, and direct contribution to product design initiatives.
The team is looking for a strong design leader who can help drive clarity and execution across sophisticated workflows, navigate organizational complexity, and elevate both the product experience and the designers around them.
Team & Leadership
- Lead a team of approximately 5–6 product designers
- Provide coaching, mentorship, and career development support
- Foster strong collaboration across Product, Engineering, and business stakeholders
- Help establish design best practices and guide execution across multiple workstreams
What They're Looking For
- Experience leading design teams within enterprise software environments
- Background working on complex, workflow-heavy products such as:
- ERP platforms
- Financial or accounting software
- Operational management systems
- Business applications with extensive feature sets and user roles
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
- Ability to navigate ambiguity, competing priorities, and cross-functional dependencies
- Comfortable moving between strategic discussions and hands-on design work
Ideal Candidate

- Enterprise product design leadership
- Team coaching and mentorship experience
- Strong systems thinking and problem-solving skills
- Experience simplifying complex workflows and business processes
- Ability to influence stakeholders and drive alignment across teams
- Hands-on design expertise with a willingness to jump into the work when needed
Location
- Atlanta-based candidates strongly preferred
- Open to candidates willing to relocate or commute regularly

The hourly pay range for this position (dependent on factors including but not limited to client requirements, experience, statutory considerations, and location) is $75.00 to $80.00/hr. Benefits available to full-time employees: medical, dental, vision, disability, life insurance, 401k and commuter benefits.
