Job Title: Visual Content Designer
Type: Contract through end of 2025 w/ likely extensions into 2026 
Location: Atlanta, GA (candidates MUST be local for as needed onsite team meetings) 

Overview:
Our client is seeking a Visual Content Designer who brings a balanced skillset across both content strategy and visual design. This role supports cross-functional digital initiatives and is ideal for a designer who can create compelling visual content and contribute to strategic content efforts across key customer-facing products. The position will support projects in customer claims, helping shape high-priority digital experiences across multiple touchpoints—including hubs, help sections, and more.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute digital content and visual designs that enhance storytelling, engagement, and usability.

• Partner with UX teams, product managers, and business stakeholders to deliver strategic content aligned with customer needs.

• Manage communications across multiple channels (email, SMS, etc.) to ensure consistency and avoid overlap.

• Work on digital products across key areas such as life insurance, investment planning, and health insurance.

• Organize and streamline content touchpoints to align with broader communication strategies.

• Stay current with digital design trends, tools, and best practices.

• Manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining high standards of quality and performance.

• Iterate on visual and content solutions based on feedback from users and stakeholders.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, Journalism, or a related field.

• Proven experience as a Visual Designer, UX Designer, or similar role, with a strong portfolio showcasing both visual and content work.

• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and Figma.

• Solid grasp of visual design fundamentals: typography, layout, color theory, and accessibility.

• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

• Detail-oriented mindset with the ability to balance strategic thinking and design execution.

• Experience working with enterprise design systems is preferred.

• Prior experience in financial services or insurance is a plus..

  The hourly pay range for this position (dependent on factors including but not limited to client requirements, experience, statutory considerations, and location) is $55.00 to $60.00/hr.
