Overview:
We are seeking an experienced UX/Product Designer to join our team focused on internal manufacturing tools that monitor quality and enable analytics. This role involves close collaboration with product managers, engineers, and fellow UX designers to support feature development and create design specifications, primarily in the analytics domain.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Research, prototype, and design user-centric features for complex, data-driven applications in the manufacturing space.

  • Create clear, detailed design specifications for product features, particularly in analytics-focused areas.

  • Conduct usability testing and user research to validate and iterate on designs.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams—product managers, engineers, analysts, and designers—to align user needs with technical and business requirements.

  • Contribute to design critiques and collaborate with peers to improve design output and team processes.

Skills & Qualifications:

  • 5–7 years of industry experience in UX/product design, with a strong grasp of user-centered design principles.

  • Hands-on experience across the full design lifecycle—from user research and wireframing to prototyping and implementation.

  • Demonstrated ability to simplify complex workflows and present data-rich information through elegant design solutions.

  • Proficiency with design and prototyping tools such as Figma or Sketch.

  • Strong understanding of interaction design, design patterns, and information architecture.

  • Ability to manage time effectively across multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.

  • Experience designing enterprise applications or tools with complex data interfaces is required.

  • A background in mathematics or statistics is a plus.

Additional Requirements:

  • Portfolio link must be included in the resume for consideration. The portfolio should showcase data-heavy enterprise application work and strong design execution.

  • Interview process is TBD (likely 3 rounds). Candidates should be prepared to present their portfolio and answer behavioral and process-related questions.

Education:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a design-related field, or equivalent practical experience.

The hourly pay range for this position (dependent on factors including but not limited to client requirements, experience, statutory considerations, and location) is $60.00 to $67/hr.  Benefits available to full-time employees: medical, dental, vision, disability, life insurance, 401k and commuter benefits.
