Job Title: Staff UX Designer (5+ year experience measuring and optimizing UX metrics enterprise wide & 3+ years experience specifically with Pendo required)
Location: Remote (Must work EST hours, 9 AM – 5 PM)
Employment Type: W2 Contract (18 months)
Pay Rate: $65.00–$70.00/hour (dependent on experience and client requirements)

About the Role
Our client is seeking a Staff UX Designer to join their team and play a strategic and hands-on role in delivering best-in-class enterprise user experiences. This role is ideal for a senior-level UX professional who thrives on solving complex problems, mentoring others, and shaping experience strategy across high-impact digital initiatives.
You’ll work cross-functionally with strategists, designers, researchers, and development teams to enhance the end-to-end user journey across multiple products. The ideal candidate brings a balance of systems thinking, design craft, and leadership presence, with the ability to mentor team members and drive UX maturity across the organization.
Key Responsibilities

Lead the delivery of UX design artifacts and usability testing efforts for key enterprise products.

Guide and mentor junior UX team members, aligning their skillsets with organizational goals.

Develop and execute UX strategies, including aligning design patterns, defining testing methodologies, and promoting experience consistency.

Collaborate with cross-functional partners (Product, Engineering, Research) to craft innovative, cohesive digital experiences.

Champion user-centered design principles throughout the product development lifecycle.
Required Qualifications

7–9 years of professional UX design experience, ideally in enterprise or retail environments.

Strong track record of leading UX design within agile development teams.

Proven ability to initiate, manage, and independently drive complex design projects.

Deep understanding of UX best practices, usability testing, and design thinking frameworks.
Preferred Qualifications

Passion for fast-paced, high-growth environments.

Experience unifying multiple product efforts into seamless user journeys.

Strong mentoring and leadership capabilities.

Familiarity with UX measurement frameworks (UMUX, SUS, HEART, etc.) and tools like Pendo, Qualtrics, or Medallia.
The hourly pay range for this position (dependent on factors including but not limited to client requirements, experience, statutory considerations, and location) is $65.00 to $70.00/hr. Benefits available to full-time employees: medical, dental, vision, disability, life insurance, 401k and commuter benefits.
