AR/VR-focused developer
TITLE: AR/VR Innovation Developer
LOCATION: Atlanta, GA (4 days onsite per week)
ANTICIPATED DURATION: 12+ month contract
Responsibilities:
- Demonstrate proficiency with innovation and emerging technology tools, platforms, and ecosystems, evaluating and applying new technologies to business challenges.
- Understand technology trends including extended reality (XR), artificial intelligence (AI), and digital transformation use cases.
- Design, prototype, and deploy immersive AR/VR applications.
- Develop or support AR/VR training solutions such as simulation-based learning, workforce training, and safety training.
- Work with 3D assets, spatial computing concepts, and user interaction design in immersive environments.
- Use, integrate, or develop AI-driven tools and applications, including generative AI, machine learning models, conversational AI, or intelligent automation.
- Prototype or build AI-enabled applications to enhance user experience, productivity, or decision-making.
- Translate business needs into proofs of concept (POCs) and scalable solutions.
- Support demos, showcases, or executive briefings.
Requirements:
- Demonstrated proficiency with innovation and emerging technology tools, platforms, and ecosystems.
- Hands-on experience with AR/VR development, including design, prototyping, and deployment.
- Proficiency in Unity and/or Unreal Engine.
- Experience developing or supporting AR/VR training solutions is highly preferred.
- Experience working with 3D assets and user interaction design.
- Experience using, integrating, or developing AI-driven tools and applications.
- Ability to prototype or build AI-enabled applications.
- Strong problem-solving skills; ability to bridge technical capabilities and business value.
- Strong communication skills; ability to articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
Preferred Experience:
- Experience supporting demos, showcases, or executive briefings.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Interactive Media, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Prior experience in an innovation lab, R&D environment, or emerging technology team.
The hourly pay rate range for this position is $34.00 to $40.00 (dependent on factors including but not limited to client requirements, experience, statutory considerations, and location).
