TITLE: Automation Engineer
LOCATION: Cupertino or Culver City, CA (hybrid, on-site Tuesday – Thursday)
ANTICIPATED DURATION: 12 months

Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop AI-based intelligent automation solutions in line with product team requirements.
  • Develop test strategies, plans, cases, and scripts for existing and new functionalities.
  • Contribute to multiple initiatives, balancing feature development with documentation and timely delivery.
  • Communicate status and progress through reports, presentations, and demos.
  • Participate in Scrum ceremonies and cross-functional meetings to enhance collaboration.

Requirements:

  • 5-7 years of professional software development experience.
  • Proficiency in PHP (Laravel or Symfony experience a plus) and Python.
  • Strong experience with React.js, including hooks, component lifecycle, and state management.
  • Working knowledge of Python for scripting, automation, or backend services.
  • Solid understanding of relational databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL) and query optimization.
  • Experience with RESTful API design and consumption.
  • Familiarity with version control using Git.
  • Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and deployment workflows.

Preferred Experience:

  • Experience with Python frameworks such as Flask or FastAPI.
  • Familiarity with containerization tools (Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
  • Understanding of web accessibility standards (WCAG).
  • Experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment.
The hourly pay rate range for this position is $75 to $80 (dependent on factors including but not limited to client requirements, experience, statutory considerations, and location).
