Software Engineer III
TITLE: Software Engineer III
LOCATION: San Jose, CA (Hybrid)
ANTICIPATED DURATION: From 08/03/2026 to 12/20/2026
Responsibilities:
- Build and maintain backend data processing pipelines for device telemetry
- Widen and enrich telemetry datasets to create more usable aggregated data
- Develop internal tooling to support debugging and analysis workflows
- Support and advance monitoring and alerting capabilities
- Partner with data scientists and analysts to evaluate and leverage platform solutions
- Build platform capabilities to host AI agents that assist with debugging and triage
Requirements:
- Strong software engineering fundamentals and coding ability for a development-focused role
- Experience or interest in data pipelines and data processing platforms
- Java experience for data processing pipeline development
- Core backend engineering skills, including system design understanding and maintainable code
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills for cross-functional collaboration
Preferred Experience:
- Python experience for microservices and AI platform development
- Microservices experience
- Exposure to or interest in agentic AI and AI agents
The hourly pay rate range for this position is $ $113.40 to $ $131.91 (dependent on factors including but not limited to client requirements, experience, statutory considerations, and location).
