Associate Project Specialist
TITLE: Associate Project Specialist
LOCATION: Peachtree City, GA or Farmington Hills, MI (hybrid in either location)
ANTICIPATED DURATION: From 09/10/2026 to 09/17/2027
Responsibilities:
- Assist Program Managers, Lead PMs, and Sr. PMs in planning and coordinating activities of designated programs.
- Support the creation and simulation of program P/L scenarios.
- Contribute to Business Plan and Mid-Term Plan budget development processes.
- Build positive relationships across Engineering, Sales, Manufacturing, Quality, Finance, and Purchasing teams.
- Create and maintain detailed and actionable Open Issues Lists (OIL) and Master Program Timelines.
- Track progress of open issues, resolve roadblocks, and escalate as necessary.
- Support customer communications as directed.
- Develop program health and status metrics, including Gate Review processes.
- Participate in new business pursuits by helping create business cases, pursuit strategies, and risk analyses.
- Work with cross-functional teams under the guidance of the Program Manager.
- Enforce and comply with company policies, procedures, and regulations.
- Manage staff information security (ISM) and ensure information handling compliance within the organization.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Business, Engineering, or related field required.
- Internship or similar experience required.
- Fluency in Spanish and/or Japanese highly desired.
- Demonstrated ability to work in a cross-functional, team-oriented environment.
- Strong presentation, leadership, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent organizational skills for multi-tasking.
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency with computer applications necessary for the position.
- Ability to analyze and interpret advanced technical data.
- Ability to develop solutions for moderate to complex problems or systems.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
Preferred Experience:
- Experience in project or program management support roles.
- Ability to read, interpret, and follow work procedures and instructions.
- Experience working with cross-functional teams and multiple stakeholders.
The hourly pay rate range for this position is $23.62 to $27.97 (dependent on factors including but not limited to client requirements, experience, statutory considerations, and location). Benefits available to full-time employees: medical, dental, vision, disability, life insurance, 401k and commuter benefits.
