TITLE: Senior Software Developer
LOCATION: Atlanta, Ga. 
ANTICIPATED DURATION: From 10/05/2026 to 10/05/2027
Responsibilities:

  • Support enterprise applications across the NERC and regional companies within the ERO Enterprise.
  • Design and develop applications and enhancements for Data Submission, Customer registration systems, Content Management Systems, Web Portals, and CRM systems.
  • Support integration of applications via APIs and orchestration.
  • Conduct unit testing, participate in code reviews, and document systems.
  • Support operational applications and troubleshoot issues.
  • Facilitate and contribute to Quality Assurance and User Acceptance Testing.
  • Perform smoke testing following software deployments.

Requirements:

  • Demonstrated expertise supporting .NET applications and enhancements.
  • Strong skills in .NET frameworks and related languages, preferably C#.
  • Experience with SQL DBMS (query and design) and Web Services (REST/SOAP).
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or relevant discipline.
  • Minimum of eight years of relevant work experience; ten or more preferred.
  • Experience in application development, integration, and evaluation of software usability.
  • Knowledge of software development lifecycle, secure coding practices, and application deployment.
  • Ability to analyze complex business needs and work effectively in team environments.
  • Strong documentation, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools such as Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Visio, and Excel.

Preferred Experience:

  • Three years of experience with Microsoft Dynamics (2015, 2016, or 365).
  • Two years of experience with ASP.NET Core Razor, MVC, or Blazor.
  • Experience with Telerik or Kendo UI components.
  • Experience configuring Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines for ASP.NET Core applications.
  • Building applications interoperable with Entra, Purview, Active Directory, or MFA.
  • Developing systems leveraging Azure Power Platform and Azure cloud-based databases.
  • Familiarity with IIS/SMTP, Web Portals, CMS, CRM integration, and data exchange formats such as XML, JSON, CSV.
  • Knowledge of the electric power industry, NERC, and enterprise system architecture.

The hourly pay rate for this position is $55.00 to $80.00 (dependent on factors including but not limited to client requirements, experience, statutory considerations, and location).
