TITLE: Senior Software Developer
LOCATION: Atlanta, Ga.
ANTICIPATED DURATION: From 10/05/2026 to 10/05/2027
Responsibilities:
- Support enterprise applications across the NERC and regional companies within the ERO Enterprise.
- Design and develop applications and enhancements for Data Submission, Customer registration systems, Content Management Systems, Web Portals, and CRM systems.
- Support integration of applications via APIs and orchestration.
- Conduct unit testing, participate in code reviews, and document systems.
- Support operational applications and troubleshoot issues.
- Facilitate and contribute to Quality Assurance and User Acceptance Testing.
- Perform smoke testing following software deployments.
Requirements:
- Demonstrated expertise supporting .NET applications and enhancements.
- Strong skills in .NET frameworks and related languages, preferably C#.
- Experience with SQL DBMS (query and design) and Web Services (REST/SOAP).
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or relevant discipline.
- Minimum of eight years of relevant work experience; ten or more preferred.
- Experience in application development, integration, and evaluation of software usability.
- Knowledge of software development lifecycle, secure coding practices, and application deployment.
- Ability to analyze complex business needs and work effectively in team environments.
- Strong documentation, communication, and organizational skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools such as Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Visio, and Excel.
Preferred Experience:
- Three years of experience with Microsoft Dynamics (2015, 2016, or 365).
- Two years of experience with ASP.NET Core Razor, MVC, or Blazor.
- Experience with Telerik or Kendo UI components.
- Experience configuring Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines for ASP.NET Core applications.
- Building applications interoperable with Entra, Purview, Active Directory, or MFA.
- Developing systems leveraging Azure Power Platform and Azure cloud-based databases.
- Familiarity with IIS/SMTP, Web Portals, CMS, CRM integration, and data exchange formats such as XML, JSON, CSV.
- Knowledge of the electric power industry, NERC, and enterprise system architecture.
The hourly pay rate for this position is $55.00 to $80.00 (dependent on factors including but not limited to client requirements, experience, statutory considerations, and location).
