Title: Product Design FEA Engineer
Location: Cupertino, CA 95014
Duration: 3 months

Innovate at the forefront of technology as a Product Design Engineer, where your expertise will directly influence the development of groundbreaking our products. In this dynamic role, you will utilize advanced finite element analysis to shape the structural integrity and performance of our newest innovations, collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to iterate and enhance designs in a fast-paced environment. Your contributions will be pivotal in creating the next generation of cutting-edge devices that redefine user experience.

Required Skills:

  • Proficiency in Abaqus, with experience in implicit and explicit finite element analysis (FEA)
  • Strong understanding of solid mechanics and materials behavior
  • Excellent collaboration and communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, innovative environment
  • MS in Mechanical Engineering, Applied Mechanics, or a related field, with 3+ years of relevant experience

Nice to Have Skills:

  • Experience with ANSA and META software tools
  • System-level modeling and simulation expertise
  • Background in IC packaging, solder joint reliability, shock, and thermal cycling
  • Knowledge of constitutive modeling and materials behavior at the mechanical level
  • PhD in Mechanical Engineering, Applied Mechanics, or Materials Science

Preferred Education and Experience:

  • Master’s degree or PhD in a related discipline
  • 3 or more years of hands-on experience in finite element analysis and mechanical design

Other Requirements:

  • Ability to participate in cross-functional teams and communicate complex technical concepts effectively
  • Willingness to engage in continuous learning and adaptation in a rapidly evolving technological landscape

The hourly pay rate range for this position is $90.00 to $105.00 (dependent on factors including but not limited to client requirements, experience, statutory considerations, and location). Benefits available to full-time employees: medical, dental, vision, disability, life insurance, 401k and commuter benefits.
